Scholarship Overview
The Jared Kamrass Scholarship for Public Service was established by Jared Kamrass, a prominent Democratic political strategist and proud Ohioan. This scholarship aims to support and encourage students who share Jared Kamrass's passion for public service and his belief in its importance. The scholarship will be awarded through an essay contest and the winner will receive a $1,000 award.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university in the United States, or a high school student who has been accepted into college. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to public service and share the values that Jared Kamrass has exemplified throughout his career. Applicants must submit an essay that describes their dedication to public service, their vision for how public service can make a positive impact on society, and their plans for how they will contribute to public service in the future. The scholarship committee will evaluate the essays based on their content, originality, and quality of writing.
